What to expect at speech pathology?
Our Speech Pathologists create customised sessions which focus on developing strings of skills. Language focused sessions will involve playing and moving to stimulate lots of language and meet goals purposefully.
Sessions are child led, meaning they will involve individual interests which will be enhanced to meet goals.
Although we have tables and chairs, sessions do not involve being seated or having to stay seated.
Speech Motor goals will be treated using evidenced based practice and using a variety of engaging methods.
Our speech pathologists are trained in cognition and executive functioning. They will never hyper fixate on one word or making a client engage or act a certain way.
